This is just a demo site....
This page is set to "sticky" so it will always stay at the top of a list. Just like on the home page. If "sticky" was removed, all posts would be presented in reverse cronological order. Though the order can be configured to display other ways. i.e. alphabetically by title, etc.
When creating content, you can select whether or not to have the post appear on the front page automatically or just in it's own section. You can set how many posts appear on the front page and whether they display their full content, teaser content or just a title.
There are a TON of features available and countless ways to customize the look and functionality of a Drupal powered site.
Another Blog Entry
Click on the link below "Admin's blog" and you will get a list of all Admin's blog posts. You'll also notice the orange feed icon appears because RSS feeds are created automatically for content lists. (As they should be.)

Posts and content on this site can be displayed in may ways. In lists, by category, it's searchable, and very Search Engine Friendly.
The page can be styled in any way imaginable. The current look is a default template and even it has controls to customize color and logos etc. Or a pro can style it to look like an existing site if you just want to add the power of a great Content Management System to your current design!
